About Tranquility Lifestyle Centre
Tranquility Lifestyle Centre was set up by Liz Clews in September
2003. Running as a non-profit organisation we aim to promote a
healthy lifestyle for the community, developing a culture of life
long fitness by making exercise and well being part of the everyday
life for people of all ages.
Liz is part of a team of fitness instructors, therapists and
volunteers, parents and grandparents. We work together running
classes and courses in house, outreach with schools, village halls
and residential homes.
We actively get involved within local community events such as
Lark in the Park and the Gainsborough Riverside Festival and support
Macmillan Cancer Relief.
About Friends of Tranquility
Friends of Tranquility was set up with the help from Lincolnshire
CDA* to raise the profile of Tranquility and to gain funds to
help the children's classes and for equipment for all to use,
many customers have benefited from this keeping costs to a minimum
and updating mats and equipment.
Want to get involved and meet others? Anyone wanting to help
within Friends of Tranquility will be more than welcome. Volunteer
help comes in many shapes and forms, it could be fund raising,
leafleting, mending a cushion, computer skills or help with an
event. Everything is very welcome.
We would love to hear from you!
